| Installing the Windows NT 4.0 Ultra DMA Drivers for the Getac A320T |
| 1. | Verify Service Pack 6 or newer is installed. If it is not it must installed before continuing. |
| 2. | Insert the driver CD provided by Getac into the CD-ROM drive. |
| 3. | Click "Start" |
| 4. | Click "Programs" |
| 5. | Click "Windows NT Explorer" |
| 6. | Click the "+" sign next to the CD Rom Drive (Labeled A320T Drivers) |
| 7. | Click the "+" sign next to the folder labeled "Ultradma" |
| 8. | Click on the folder labeled "Winnt40" |
| 9. | On the right side find the file labeled "Setup" with a picture of a computer next to it. It is a 268KB file. Double Click it. |
| 10. | On the Question screen, Click "Yes". |
| 11. | When the license agreement appears, you can read it by scrolling down and across using the side and bottom scroll bars.
When finished Click the "X" in the upper right corner to close the window.

| 12. | On the Question screen, click "Yes". |
| 13. | On the Installation Location screen, Click "OK". |
| 14. | On the Question screen, Click "Yes" |
| 15. | Click the "X: in the upper right corner of the Readme file to close it. |
| 16. | Click "Start" |
| 17. | Click "Settings" |
| 18. | Click "Control Panel" |
| 19. | Double Click "SCSI Adapters" |
| 20. | Click the "Drivers" tab. |
| 21. | Highlight any drivers that are currently listed and Click "Remove".
Click "Yes" to verify removal.
Note: If more then 1 driver is list repeat until all drivers are removed.

| 22. | Click "Add". |
| 23. | On the Install Driver Screen Click "Have Disk" |
| 24. | On the Install From Disk screen, Type "C:\PIIXIDE" in the box provided (Where C: is the drive NT was installed to)
Click "OK"

| 25. | Verify "Intel PIIX PCI Bus Master IDE Controller" is listed
Click "OK".

| 26. | On the System Setting Change screen, Click "Yes" to reboot the machine. |
| 27. | After the system restarts installation is complete. |
| 28. | Re-install service pack 6 or newer. |
